Old Town Hall

The Old Town Hall of Glyfada, which is a stunning building, it is directed on the beach, overlooking the marina and pools of ANOG, and it acts as a forum on culture and education.

Recently was renovated by the Martinou family, on the ground floor of the building it hosts exhibitions of paintings, sculpture and photography, from Glyfadas residents, literary events, book presentations and charity Bazaars.

The '' Trouville '', as they called it when built in the 20s, was a hunting lodge by the sea, Glyfada was overgrown with pine trees, which developed into one of the finest homes centers of the wider region. In 1946, Angelos Metaxas, the first Mayor of Glyfada, turned it to a City Hall, and it worked until 1998, after the new Town Hall was built in the Alsous street.

The Old Town Hall remained closed for 15 years, until October 21, 2013 which a ceremony was held there for the delivery of the Municipality from Thanassis Martinos.
